Utah State picked up a verbal commitment tonight from Navarro Community College (TX) defensive tackle Clifton Mosley Jr. Mosley Jr. is a 6 foot 2 325-pound freshman who will join the Aggies for the 2023 season and will enroll in time for spring football. He will have four years to complete his final three seasons of eligibility. Mosley Jr. has played in four games this season and has been credited with 25 tackles, 1.0 tackle-for-loss, and 1 fumble recovery that he returned for a touchdown for the 5-3 Bulldogs. At the time of his commitment, Mosley Jr. held offers from Central Oklahoma, East Central University, Eastern Kentucky, Hawaii, Incarnate Word, Liberty, Lincoln University, Louisiana Tech, Marshall, McNeese State, Morehouse College, Sam Houston State, Southeastern Louisiana, and Tennessee Tech. Mosley Jr. will be in action again this Saturday when the Bulldogs take on Tyler Community College (TX). Mosley Jr. is the tenth commitment for the Aggies class of 2023 joining fellow JuCo players running back Davon Booth, EDGE rush defensive end Maka Tu’akoi, and cornerback Ron Fuselier. High school players, quarterback McCae Hillstead, running back Jaydon Bailey, wide receiver Jackson Olsen, EDGE rush defensive end Zion Andreasen, cornerback Keith Abney and returning missionary safety Bowen Fjord.
