My game ball today will be going to junior point guard Steven Ashworth. During the Aggies 95-85 shootout victory over Oral Roberts University, Ashworth had a monster game as he scored not only a team-high but a career-high 30 points, including 10 straight points down the stretch to help the Aggies regain the lead after Oral Roberts had tied the game at 77. Ashworth hit 9 of 11 shots from the field, connecting on 8 of his 9 attempts from behind the 3-point line, and knocking down 4 of his 5 free throw tries. He also dished out 4 assists and corralled one defensive rebound. Ashworth and the 5-0 Aggies will look to keep their season-opening winning streak intact on December 1st at home when they welcome Utah Tech.
