My game ball today will be going to junior combo guard Steven Ashworth. During the Aggies last minute 64-69 road loss to Mountain West Conference foe San Jose State University, Ashworth scored 14 points while hitting 2 of 6 shots from the field, knocking down all 9 of his free throw tries, and hitting 1 of 3 shots from behind the three-point arc. He pulled down 1 offensive rebound and 5 defensive boards for a total of 6 rebounds on the night. He also dished out 5 assists and swiped 2 steals. Ashworth and the 19-7 Aggies will now return home and fight to erase a two-game losing streak and improve upon their 8-5 Mountain West Conference record on February 14th against the Air Force Academy.
