My game ball today will be going to graduate senior stretch four Taylor Funk. During the Aggies 91-76 Mountain West Conference Tournament, quarterfinal win over the Univerisity of New Mexico, Funk scored a season-high 32 points, including the Aggies’ first 16 points of the game, while hitting 10 of 16 shots from the field, knocking down 6 of his 7 free-throw tries, and hitting 6 of 10 shots from behind the three-point arc. He pulled down 2 defensive boards on the night. He also dished out 1 assist. Funk and the 25-7 Aggies have won six-straight games and now move ahead to a semi-final showdown with Mountain West Conference rival Boise State. That game takes place tonight in Las Vegas.
