My game ball today will be going to junior combo guard Max Shulga. During the Aggies 72-62 Mountain West Conference Tournament, semi-final win over Boise State University, Shulga scored 19 points while hitting 5 of 11 shots from the field, knocking down all 6 of his free-throw tries, and hitting 3 of 7 shots from behind the three-point arc. He pulled down 2 defensive boards on the night. He also dished out 5 assists. Shulga and the 26-7 Aggies have won seven-straight games and now move ahead to a tournament championship game showdown with Mountain West Conference rival San Diego State. That game takes place tonight in Las Vegas.
