Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this afternoon from Casteel High School (AZ) offensive lineman Camden Jury. He was in Logan on an unofficial visit over the weekend of June 23rd and chose to make it official today. Jury is a 6-foot-7 315-pound high school senior who will join the Aggies for the 2024 season. Jury said that something that stood out to him was, “the culture that Coach Anderson has created is something that I want to be a part of. Coach Bassett made me feel at home and I was welcomed on the campus.” Jury is not currently rated by the major recruiting sites. At the time of his commitment, Jury had an offer from Augustana, and he was receiving interest from Arizona State, Drake, Eastern Washington, Northern Arizona, San Diego State, Southern Utah, and UTEP, He was also scheduled to visit byu this weekend but canceled once he made his commitment to the Aggies. Jury says that he chose to commit to Utah State because “I chose to commit to Utah State because I feel like it is the best fit for me. I like the coaching staff, the culture they are building, and the opportunity that I will have to grow as a player and person under their direction. Coach Bassett believes in me and my ability as a player and that is a huge reason I made my commitment as well.” Jury is the first commitment for the Aggies 2024 recruiting cycle.
