Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Iowa Central Community College (IA) running back Derrick Jameson. Jameson is a 6-foot-0 217-pound rising sophomore with three seasons of eligibility remaining. He will join the Aggies for the 2024 season. Jameson’s decision was made just one day after spending time on campus for his official visit.

Jameson did not record any stats last season for the Tritons. As a high school senior at Maple Grove High (MN), he was a Top 10 finalist for Mr. Football Minnesota after rushing for 1592 yards and 24 touchdowns and totaling more than 500 yards in receiving and return yards and four more touchdowns.
