The Aggies suffered their first loss of the season dropping their road opener 44-22 to the 19th ranked Aggies of Texas A&M Now it’s time to hand out the game balls.

My offensive game ball will go to senior wide receiver Brady Boyd. Boyd was the star of the Aggie receiver corps, hauling in 6 passes for 87 yards. His long reception went for 24 yards and was highlighted by a toe-dragging snag that was ruled a catch and upheld by the replay booth.

My defensive game ball for the second time this season is going to senior inside linebacker John Miller. Miller finished tied for third on the team in tackles including 4 solo stops and 3 assisted tackles. He also posted game highs in tackles-for-loss with 2.0 and also the team lead in sacks with 2.0.

My special teams game ball will go to sophomore punter Landon Rehkow. Rehkkow booted the ball nine times for an average of 40.4 yards per punt, with a long of 61 yards, a touchback, and two punts downed inside the 20-yard line.
