Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Northridge High School (UT) cornerback Dontae Dyson. Dyson is 6-foot-0, 165 pounds. Dyson will join the Aggies for the 2026 season.
Dyson was a two-way threat for the Knights, racking up 23 tackles, 1 interception, and 5 pass breakups. Offensively, he hauled in 35 passes for 502 yards and 6 touchdowns.
According to 247sports, Dyson is rated as the 1,148th-best player nationally, the 93rd-best cornerback, and the 19th-best player in Utah. Dyson was previously committed to Colorado State and also chose the Aggies over offers from boise state and Weber State.
