The 2025 season came to an end for the Aggies with a 21-34 loss to future PAC-12 foe Washington State University in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Here are the season’s final game balls.

My offensive game ball will go to graduate senior quarterback Jacob Conover. Conover came on in relief of an injured Bryson Barnes and did his best to rally the Aggies by completing 5 of his 6 passes (83.3%) for 78 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 23 yards on 3 carries. Conover finished the season with completing 24 passes in 39 attempts (61.5%), for 323 yards, and 4 touchdowns. He also has 8 carries for 28 yards.

My defensive game ball will go to sophomore boundary safety Brevin Hamblin. Hamblin pulled down a game-high 9 solo tackles and 3 assists for a game-high total of 12 tackles on the night. He also had a team-leading 0.5 tackles-for-loss and a team-leading 2 pass breakups. Hamblin finished the season second on the team in total tackles with 114. He has also recorded 2.5 tackles-for-loss, 1.5 sacks, 1 interception, 8 pass breakups, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery.

My special teams game ball will go to sophomore punter Landon Rehkow. Rehkow booted the ball seven times for an average of 44.6 yards per punt, with a long of 50 yards. He also landed three of his punts inside the 20-yard line. Rehkow booted the ball 68 times this season for an average of 42.9 yards per punt, with a long of 63 yards. Twenty-one of his punts have landed inside the 20-yard line, and he has 18 punts of 50+ yards on the season..
