Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Mississippi Valley State EDGE rush defensive end Adonis Jackson. Jackson is 6-foot-5, 252 pounds, and will join the Aggies in time for spring ball and have one year of eligibility remaining.
Jackson saw action in 11 games for the Delta Devils in 2025 and rolled up 37 tackles, 6.5 tackles-for-loss, 2.0 sacks, 3 quarterback hurries, and 1 pass breakup.
According to 247sports, Jackson is rated as the 1,545th-best transfer portal player nationally, and the 162nd-best EDGE rush defensive end. Jackson chose the Aggies over offers from Idaho State and Northern Arizona.
Following the December 3rd early signing period, Jackson becomes the eighth transfer portal commitment and the twenty-seventh signing/commitment for the Aggies recruiting class of 2026, joining Bishop Gorman HS (NV) wide receiver Kaina Watson, New Mexico State defensive tackle Ta’avili Tuitama, University of Saint Thomas (MN) EDGE rush defensive end Jordan Pendleton, Wyoming cornerback Markie Grant, Oklahoma State University safety David “DK” Kabongo, byu quarterback McCae Hillstead, Oklahoma State offensive lineman Matt “Chewy” Wade, and byu cornerback Marcus McKenzie as post-early signing period additions.
