Utah State Football Receives a Verbal Commitment from Springville High (UT) Tight End Will Monney

Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this morning from Springville High (UT) tight end Will Monney. Monney is a 6 foot 4 205-pound senior who will graduate from Springville High next month to enroll at Utah State in January and will be a full participant in spring football. Monney finished his final season at Springville by reeling in 31 receptions for 443 yards and three touchdowns. As a junior during the 2021 season, he snagged 4 passes for 37 yards. He also tallied 1 carry for 8 yards. He even recorded ten tackles on the defensive side of the ball. Monney did hold an offer from Idaho. Monney completed his final season at Springville with a tough 27-34 playoff loss to Alta High.
