My game ball today will be going to junior combo guard Steven Ashworth. During the Aggies 61-63 slugfest home loss to Mountain West Conference rival San Diego State University, Ashworth scored 18 points while hitting 5 of 11 shots from the field, knocking down all 6 of his free throw tries, and hitting 2 of 5 shots from behind the three-point arc. He pulled down 5 defensive rebounds on the night. He also dished out 6 assists. Ashworth and the 19-6 Aggies will hit the road and look to improve upon their 8-4 Mountain West Conference record on February 11th at San Jose State.
