For the second straight week, I will name two recruits of the week.
My first recruit of the week is going to North Shore High (TX) quarterback Kaleb Maryland. Maryland led the Mustangs to a 76-15 drubbing of Goose Creek Memorial High (TX). Maryland was lights out all night long, completing an efficient 9 of 11 passes (81.1%) for an amazing 237 yards and three touchdowns. This is Maryland’s second straight recruit of the week honor. Maryland and the Mustangs have won 5 straight games and will be looking for their sixth straight when they hit the road to take on Channelview High (TX), Friday night.
My second recruit of the week is going to Canyon High (TX) running back Jackson Regan. Regan was an integral part of the Cougars’ competitive 24-20 win over Clemens High (TX). Regan toted the rock 15 times for 158 yards and a touchdown. He also snagged 2 passes for 14 yards. This is Regan’s first recruit of the week award. Regan and the Cougars have won 3 straight games and will be looking for their fourth straight when they hit the road to take on East Central High (TX), Friday night.
