My fourteenth Aggie recruit of the week for the 2025 season is going out to Rancho Cotate High (CA) inside linebacker John McClellan. McClellan was a man among boys during the Cougars’ California Division 3 state playoffs quarter-final round win over James Logan High (CA). McClellan racked up 5 solo tackles and an incredible 16 assisted tackles for a total of 21 tackles on the night. McClellan has now amassed 139 tackles, 5.0 tackles-for-loss, 3.0 sacks, 1 interception, 1 fumble recovery, 1 blocked kick; 29 carries, 181 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 14 receptions, 184 yards, and 1 touchdown. McClellan and the Cougars are now 6-4 on the season and now face El Cerrito High (CA) in the California Division 3 state playoffs semi-finals Friday night.
