Utah State has picked up a verbal commitment from De Smet Jesuit High (MO) guard Jordan Boyd. Boyd is a 6-foot-4, 185-pound senior who will join the Aggies for the 2026-27 season. Boyd was on the Utah State campus over the weekend for his official visit.

At press time, I was not able to find stats for Boyd’s senior season.

Leading up to his senior season with the Spartans, Boyd played in 61 games over 3 seasons and averaged 13.1 points per game while shooting 67.0% from the field, 35.0% from behind the three-point line, and 80.0% at the free-throw stripe. He also pulled in 6.2 rebounds, handed out 5.4 assists, and swiped 0.4 steals

Boyd originally signed with Coach Jacobson at the University of Northern Iowa. He originally held offers from Eastern Illinois, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Miami (OH),  North Dakota State, Southeast Missouri State, Southern Illinois, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, and Valparaiso.

Boyd is the Aggies first high school commitment of the 2026 recruiting cycle and the third commitment overall, joining Snow JC (UT) center Sean Felts and Northern Iowa forward Will Hornseth.
