Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Cornell University offensive lineman Evan Nesmith. Nesmith is 6-foot-5, 283 pounds, and following his graduation from Cornwell will join the Aggies in June with one and possibly two years of eligibility remaining.
As a senior with The Big Red last season, Nesmith saw action in 3 games.
During his 4-year career at Cornell, Nesmith played in 24 games.
Nesmith chose the Aggies over offers from Albany, Central Connecticut State, New Haven, New Mexico State, Stony Brook, Towson State, and Vanderbilt.
Nesmith is the Aggies first transfer portal commitment from the graduate transfer pool.
