I’ll have two game balls today after the Aggies lost a 55-66 heartbreaker that saw Colorado State pull away from the Aggies in the last four minutes of the game.
My first game ball will be going to senior combo guard RJ Eytle-Rock. RJ led the way for the Aggies on Saturday by scoring 14 points while hitting 5 of 11 shots from the field, connecting on 3 of his 6 attempts from behind the 3-point line and making 1 of his 2 free throw tries. He pulled down 6 defensive boards for a total of 6 rebounds on the night. He also contributed 1 steal.
My second game ball will be going to senior power forward Justin Bean. Justin scored 10 points while hitting 4 of 11 shots from the field, connecting on 1 of his 2 attempts from behind the 3-point line and making 1 of his two free throw tries. He led the way by pulling down 3 offensive rebounds and 8 defensive boards for a total of 11 defensive rebounds on the night. He also handed out 2 assists and contributed 1 steal and blocked a shot.
