I’ll have two game balls today after the Aggies ended the regular season with a 75-52 road win over San Jose State.
My first game ball will be going to senior power forward Justin Bean. Justin led the way for the Aggies on Saturday in a couple of categories. He scored 18 points while hitting 7 of 15 shots from the field, connecting on 3 of his 5 attempts from behind the 3-point line and making 1 of 2 free throw attempts. He led the way by pulling down 5 offensive rebounds and 6 defensive boards for a total of 11 rebounds on the night. He also dished out 3 assists.
My second game ball will be going to graduate senior stretch 5 Brandon Horvath. Brandon got things going early by scoring 16 points while hitting 6 of 14 shots from the field, connecting on 2 of his 6 attempts from behind the 3-point line, and hitting both of his free throw tries. He pulled down 2 offensive rebounds and 6 defensive boards for a total of 8 rebounds on the night. He also contributed 2 assists and 1 steal.
