This week I have a tough call, so, I’m going with two recruits of the week.
My first Utah State football recruit of the week will be going to Steele High (TX) running back Jaydon Bailey. Bailey helped Steele improve to 3-0 on the season while leading the Knights to a 49-16 week three win over Hutto High (TX). He carried the rock 18 times to the tune of 118 yards and three touchdowns, while also catching one pass that was good for another 31 yards. Bailey looks to keep the Knights three-game winning streak alive this weekend when they take on Midland Legacy High (TX).
My second Utah State football recruit of the week will be going to Waxahachie High (TX) cornerback/wide receiver Keith Abney. Abney helped Waxahachie improve to 3-0 on the season while leading the Indians to a 49-7 week three win over Grand Prairie High (TX). He came up big on both sides of the ball catching four passes for 85 yards and one touchdown, while also adding one carry for another seven yards. He also contributed 5 tackles on the defensive side of the ball. Abney looks to help keep the Indians three-game winning streak alive this weekend when they take on Cedar Hill High (TX).
