Utah State picked up a verbal commitment tonight from Cerritos Community College (CA) running back Davon Booth. Booth was in Logan Saturday night and witnessed firsthand the Aggies HUGE 34-27 win over the Air Force Academy. Booth is a 5 foot 10 200-pound sophomore who will join the Aggies for the 2023 season and will enroll in time for spring football. He will have three years to complete his final two seasons of eligibility. Booth currently has totaled 75 carries for 462 yards and three touchdowns and has snagged 6 passes for 82 yards and another touchdown for the 4 and 1 Falcons. As a true freshman last season, he carried the ball 122 times for 564 yards and seven touchdowns, while adding 11 receptions for 171 yards and one touchdown. Booth did hold an offer from Mountain West foe, San Jose State. Booth will be in action again this Saturday when the Falcons take on Chaffey Community College (CA).
