My game ball today will be going to graduate senior shooting guard RJ Eytle-Rock. During the Aggies historic 75-66 home win over Mountain West Conference rival the University of Nevada, Eytle-Rock scored a very timely 10 points hitting 3 of 4 shots from the field, knocking down both of his free throw tries, and hitting 2 of 2 shots from behind the three-point arc, which sparked the Aggies toward erasing a 21-point deficit. He pulled down 1 defensive rebound, however, his defensive effort helped inspire his fellow Aggies to step up their defensive effort as well. Eytle-Rock also dished out 1 assist, swiped a steal, and blocked 2 shots. Eytle-Rock and the 21-7 Aggies will quickly hit the road and look to build upon their 10-5 Mountain West Conference record on February 21st against the University of Wyoming.
