My game ball today will be going to junior combo guard Steven Ashworth. During the Aggies 65-55 road win over Mountain West Conference foe, the University of Wyoming, Ashworth scored 19 points while hitting 4 of 11 shots from the field, knocking down 10 of his 12 free throw tries, and hitting 1 of 7 shots from behind the three-point arc. He pulled down 1 offensive rebound and 6 defensive boards for a total of 7 rebounds on the night. He also dished out 3 assists. Ashworth and the 22-7 Aggies will now have 6 days off before returning to the road looking to make it four-straight wins and improve upon their 11-5 Mountain West Conference record by battling UNLV in the final true road game of the season on March 1st.
