My game ball today will be going to junior combo guard Steven Ashworth. During the Aggies 91-66 road win over Mountain West Conference foe, UNLV Ashworth scored 27 points while hitting 10 of 17 shots from the field, knocking down both of his free throw tries, and hitting 5 of 10 shots from behind the three-point arc. He pulled down 1 offensive rebound and 1 defensive board for a total of 2 rebounds on the night. He also dished out 7 assists and swiped 3 steals. Ashworth and the 23-7 Aggies have won four-straight games and now return to the friendly confines of the Spectrum and look to improve upon their 12-5 Mountain West Conference record by battling Boise State in the final true home game of the season on March 4th.
