Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this afternoon from Lapwai High (ID) WING Kase Wynott. Wynott is a 6 foot 6 195-pound senior. He will join the Aggies for the 2024-25 season. Wynott came on his official visit to Utah State during the week of June 26th. Wynott has been a dominant player throughout his high school career averaging 25.5 points per game while shooting 64.0% from the field, 44.0% from behind the three-point line, and 87.0% at the free-throw stripe. He also pulled in 7.3 rebounds, handed out 3.4 assists, swiped 1.7 steals, and blocked 1.4 shots per game. As a junior, Wynott was named the Idaho Statesman Player of the Year. Wynott chose the Aggies over offers from Eastern Washington, Lewis & Clark, Idaho, Idaho State, Indiana State, Montana, Montana State, UC-San Diego, Washington State, and Weber State. Wynott is the first commitment for the Aggies signing class of 2023-24.
