My offensive game ball is going to true freshman quarterback McCae Hillstead. Hillstead came off the bench to energize a sputtering Aggie offense to complete 18 of 27 passes for 202 yards and three touchdowns, as the Aggies outscored the Falcons 21-10 once Hillstead checked into the game.
My defensive game ball is going to sophomore linebacker Cole Joyce. Joyce made the most of a tough night defensively for the Aggies as he racked up 11 tackles including 4 solo and 7 assists. He also logged the Aggies lone sack and the only tackle for loss with one of each.
My special teams game ball will be going to senior punter Stephen Kotsanlee. Kotsanlee wasn’t seen much Friday night but made it count every chance he received as he booted the ball three times including a long punt of 47 yards for an average of 41.7 yards per punt. Kotsanlee also landed one punt inside the 20.
