Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this afternoon from Corner Canyon High School (UT) wide receiver Tate Kjar. Kjar is a 5-foot-10 150-pound high school senior who will join the Aggies for the 2024 season. He will be heading into his second season as a starting wide receiver for the Chargers. Over the course of three seasons of high school experience, he has racked up 176 receptions for 2,829 yards and 29 touchdowns. According to 247sports, Kjar is rated as the 295th-best wide receiver in the country, and the 39th-best high school player in the State of Utah. At the time of his commitment, Kjar had offers from Southern Utah, Utah Tech, and Weber State. Kjar is the fourth commitment for the Aggies 2024 recruiting cycle, joining Casteel High (AZ) offensive lineman Camden Jury, Helix High (CA) quarterback Ryland Jessee, and Lehi High (UT) tight end Grayson Brousseau.
