It doesn’t matter if it was an exhibition game or not, the game balls don’t stop and my first game ball of the young season is going to redshirt freshman shooting guard Mason Falslev. The hometown kid didn’t disappoint in his debut in an Aggie uniform. During the 73-64 win over the Yellowjackets, Falslev scored a game-high 23 points, while hitting 9 of 12 shots from the field, nailing 3 of 4 shots from behind the three-point arc, and connecting on 2 of 6 free throw attempts. He pulled down 2 offensive rebounds and 5 defensive boards for a total of 7 boards on the night. He also dished out 4 assists and swiped 1 steal. Falslev and the Aggies have concluded the preseason portion of the schedule and tip off the 2023-24 regular season at home on Monday, November 6th against the South Dakota School of Mines.
