After a solid 41-24 win over the University of Nevada, the Aggies have reached the 5 and 5 mark and it’s time to hand out this week’s game balls.

My offensive game ball is going to junior running back Rahsul Faison. Faison toted the rock a team-high 22 times for a game-high 181 yards and a touchdown. He gouged the Wolfpack defense to the tune of 8.2 yards per carry. He also caught a pass but did not gain any yards.

My defensive game ball is going to redshirt junior Anthony Switzer. Switzer was an absolute menace on the field Saturday afternoon. Beyond delivering several punishing hits, he pulled down 7 tackles, including five solo tackles and two assisted tackles. He also logged 1.0 tackle-for-loss, 1.0 sack, and two quarterback hurries, one of which resulted in an interception by sophomore defensive tackle Seni Tuaiki which he returned 63 yards for his first career house call.

My special teams player of the game goes to redshirt freshman punter Ryan Marks. Marks booted the ball six times including a long punt of 54 yards for an average of 46.5 yards per punt. Marks also landed two of his punts inside the 20 and had two punts of over 50 yards.

The Aggies return to the field this Saturday, November 16th will bowl eligibility on the line as the 5 and 5 broncos of boise state come to town.
