With a heart-stopping 44-41 double-overtime victory over the University of New Mexico, the Aggies are bowl-eligible and awaiting word on where their next destination will be.

My offensive game ball is going to senior quarterback Levi Williams. Williams got his first start in an Aggie uniform in the biggest game of the year and he did not disappoint as he threw for 198 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception while completing 16 of 27 passes. Williams was just as impressive with his legs as he gained 153 yards and an amazing three rushing touchdowns on 25 carries. After he heroically barreled into the endzone to score the decisive touchdown his teammates hoisted him on their shoulders and carried him around the field.

My defensive game ball is going to sophomore safety Ike Larsen. Larsen finished the game with 10 tackles, including five solo tackles and five assisted tackles. Larsen was also credited with a pass breakup.

My special teams player of the game goes to redshirt freshman punter Ryan Marks. Marks booted the ball five times including a long punt of 60 yards for an average of 42.5 yards per punt. Marks also landed three of his punts inside the 20 and had two punts of over 50 yards.
