Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this morning from Golden West Community College (CA) safety Terrell Taylor. Taylor is a 6-foot 195-pound sophomore who will have two seasons of eligibility remaining. In 17 games throughout his two-year career at Golden West, Taylor racked up 61 tackles, 2.5 tackles-for-loss, 1 interception, 1 pass breakup, and 1 fumble recovery. He began his collegiate career spending one season redshirting at Army. According to 247sports coming out of Paramount High (CA), he was rated as the 3,051st-best player nationally, the 226th-best safety, and the 326th-best player in the state of California. He will be joining the Aggies for the 2024 season and sign his letter of intent during the early signing period that begins December 20th. Taylor currently holds offers from Eastern Michigan, Old Dominion, Stephen F. Austin, and Wagner.
