After a back-and-forth 84-82 road win over Santa Clara University, two standout performances demanded being rewarded with game balls.

The first one is going to graduate senior point guard Darius Brown. Brown scored 23 points while hitting 8 of 19 shots from the field, including knocking down 3 of 7 shots from beyond the 3-point arc, and going 4 of 5 from the free-throw line. He pulled down 1 offensive rebound and 4 defensive boards for a total of 4 rebounds on the night. He also dished out a game-high 7 assists and swiped 4 steals.

The second one is going to senior shooting guard Ian Martinez. Martinez scored a game-high 28 points while hitting 8 of 12 shots from the field, including knocking down 4 of 7 shots from beyond the 3-point arc, and going 8 of 10 from the free-throw line. He pulled down 4 defensive boards on the night. He also dished out 2 assists, swiped 3 steals, and swatted a shot.

With the non-conference true road schedule complete, the Aggies will now turn their attention to a neutral site tilt versus the University of San Fransisco Dons on Saturday, December 16th at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
