Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this afternoon from Golden West Community College (CA) defensive tackle Braydon Bailey. Bailey is a 6-foot-3 305-pound junior who will have three years to complete his final two seasons of eligibility. Over two seasons at Golden West, Bailey racked up 33 tackles 11.5 tackles-for-loss, and 3.0 sacks. He will be joining the Aggies for the 2024 season and sign his letter of intent during the early signing period that begins December 20th. At the time of his commitment, Bailey held offers from Ball State, Kennesaw State, Northern Arizona, Portland State, and Stephen F. Austin. Bailey is the seventh junior college addition for the Aggies and the eighteenth commitment overall for the Aggies 2024 recruiting cycle, joining Hutchinson CC (KS) cornerback Mason Edwards, Bulter CC (KS) EDGE rush end Marlin Dean, Golden West CC (CA) safety Terrell Taylor, Golden West CC (CA) safety Marquis Brown, East Central CC (MS) cornerback EJ Fisk, and Navarro CC (TX) offensive lineman Jared Pele and from the transfer portal former university of utah linebacker Jadon Pearson, former University of Iowa quarterback Spencer Petras, former University of Pittsburgh offensive lineman Trey Andersen, former Baylor University offensive lineman George Maile, and former Arizona State University linebacker Will Shaffer, and high school commits Casteel High (AZ) offensive lineman Camden Jury, Helix High (CA) quarterback Ryland Jessee, Lehi High (UT) tight end Grayson Brousseau, Corner Canyon High (UT) wide receiver Tate Kjar, Mater Dei High (CA) linebacker Tanner Williams, and Mountain Ridge High (UT) offensive lineman Adam Hawkes.
