Cage is a 6-foot-4 255-pound redshirt sophomore who has two seasons of eligibility remaining. In his lone season at Texas State, Cage saw action in 9 games logging 6 tackles, and 1.0 tackle-for-loss. Cage began his collegiate career at Southeastern Louisiana University where he spent two seasons playing in 16 games with 8 starts and totaling 29 tackles, 9.0 tackles-for-loss, 5.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. For his exceptional play as a freshman, he earned a second-team freshman all-American nod. He will be joining the Aggies for the 2024 season and will enroll at Utah State in January.
