Utah State received a verbal commitment from former boise state university quarterback CJ Tiller. Tiller is a 6-foot-1 200-pound freshman who has four seasons of eligibility remaining. He will join the Aggies for the 2024 season. Tiller’s decision was made and announced while he was in Logan on his official visit. As a bronco last season Tiller saw action in two games completing 12 of 21 passes for 117 yards and an interception. According to 247sports coming out of Rancho Cucamonga High School (CA), Tiller was rated as the 840th-best player nationally, the 40th-best quarterback, and the 73rd-best player in the State of California. Tiller originally held offers from California, boise state, Northern Arizona, San Diego State, San Jose State, Utah State, and Washington State. Tiller chose the Aggies this time over an offer from James Madison. Tiller is the Aggies second addition to the team following the conclusion of spring ball joining Iowa Central Community College (IA) defensive tackle Isaiah Bruce.

I see where some Boise State fans are going insane about this. Here is one example of this:
“He committed high treason. I could root for him if he transferred to any team, including Idaho, BUT Utah State. He is dead to me.”
Utah State fans you SHOULD know that Tiller was one of the half-dozen players who were told – after Boise State’s spring game – that they would not be on the team next fall and should be looking for another school.
