Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this morning from Lehi High School (UT) offensive guard Tommy “Rock” Olsen. Olsen is a 6-foot-6 275-pound high school senior who will join the Aggies for the 2025 season. During his 2-year career, he has been a starter in 27 games for the Pioneers. Utah State football legends Merlin and Phil Olsen are his great-uncles.
According to 247sports, Olsen is rated as the 177th-best interior offensive lineman in the country, and the 34th-best high school player in Utah. Olsen chose the Aggies over offers from New Mexico, utah, UTEP, and Washington State.
Olsen is the first commitment for the Aggies 2025 recruiting cycle.
