My first offensive game ball of the season will be graduate senior wide receiver Kyrese White. In the season-opening win over the Colonials, White enjoyed a career game snaring three passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns. The scoring plays included receptions of 57 and 53 yards.
I’ll go with two game balls on the defensive side.
My first defensive game ball will be going to graduate senior linebacker Jon Ross Maye. Maye tied for the team lead with ten tackles, including two solo and eight assisted tackles. He also recorded one tackles-for-loss.
My second defensive game ball will be going to graduate senior safety Jordan Vincent. Vincent tied for the team lead with ten tackles, including three solo and seven assisted tackles.
My special teams game ball will be going to graduate senior kicker Elliott Nimrod. Nimrod connected on all three of his field goal attempts including hitting kicks from 36,42, and 50 yards out. He also hit three of his four PAT tries.
