Following the Aggies tough 34-50 homecoming loss to UNLV, I will be going with two offensive game balls for the first time this season.
My first offensive game ball will go to senior wide receiver Jalen Royals. Royals caught ten passes for 155 yards and a touchdown. Royals touchdowns was his fifth of the season.
My second offensive game ball will go to junior wide receiver Jack Hestera. Hestera caught a career-high ten passes for a career-high 152 yards and a touchdown. Hestera’s touchdown was his third of the season.
I will also go with two defensive game balls.
My first defensive game ball will go to junior safety Ike Larsen. Larsen led the team with eleven tackles, including six solo tackles and five assisted tackles. Larsen also recorded 0.5 tackles-for-loss.
My second defensive game ball will go to senior EDGE rush defensive end Cian Slone. Slone had six total tackles, including 2 solo tackles and 4 assisted tackles. He also had a career-high and team-leading 2.0 sacks and 2.0 tackles-for-loss.
My special teams game ball will go to senior punter Stephen Kotsanlee. Kotsanlee booted the ball four for an average of 37.7 yards per punt, with a long of 47 yards and one punt downed inside the 20-yard line.
