Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this morning from Centennial High School (AZ) wide receiver Nikko Boncore. Boncore is a 6-foot 175-pound high school senior who will join the Aggies for the 2025 season. Boncore just returned home to Arizona after spending the weekend on the Utah State campus on his official visit.

After transferring to Centennial from Cactus High (AZ), Boncore finally regained his eligibility a week ago and snagged his first 4 passes of the season for 25 yards and a touchdown. During his 3-year career at Cactus High, he hauled in 163 passes for 2,522 yards and 25 touchdowns.

According to 247sports Boncore is currently rated as the 227th-best wide receiver in the country, and the 18th-best prospect overall in Arizona. Boncore chose the Aggies over offers from Iowa State, South Dakota, and Southern Utah.

Boncore is the fifth commitment for the Aggies 2025 recruiting cycle, joining Lehi HS (UT) offensive lineman Tommy “Rock” Olsen and Idabel HS (OK) running back Ravian “Megatron” Larry, Copper Hills HS (UT) offensive lineman Joakim Green, and Basha HS (AZ) EDGE rush defensive end Darian “Bleu” Dantzler.
