Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this morning from Skyridge High School (UT) offensive lineman Filimone Fangupo. Fangupo is a 6-foot-1 280-pound high school senior who will join the Aggies for the 2025 season
Fangupo has been a stalwart along a Falcons offensive line that passes for 213 yards per game and has paved the way for a rushing attack that averages 187.7 yards per game. During his 4-year career at Skyridge High and Kearns High (UT), Fangupo has started in 36 games.
According to 247sports, Fangupo is rated as the 233rd-best interior offensive lineman in the country and the 47th-best overall player in Utah. Fangupo chose the Aggies over an offer from Carroll College.
Fanguo is the seventh commitment for the Aggies 2025 recruiting cycle, joining Lehi HS (UT) offensive lineman Tommy “Rock” Olsen and Idabel HS (OK) running back Ravian “Megatron” Larry, Copper Hills HS (UT) offensive lineman Joakim Green, Basha HS (AZ) EDGE rush defensive end Darian “Bleu” Dantzler, Centennial HS (AZ) wide receiver Nikko Boncore, and Logan HS (UT) tight end Reed Olsen.
