The Aggies scored a blowout win in their first game of the 2024-25 season, easily dispatching of Alcorn State University 101-46
The first game ball of the year is going to senior center Aubin Gateretse. Gateretse finished the game with a game-high 24 points while hitting all 11 of his shots from the field, knocking down both of his free throw attempts. Several of his buckets came on thunderous alley-oop dunks. He pulled down 3 defensive boards and 3 more on the offensive end for a total of 6 rebounds on the night. He also dished out 2 assists, blocked 2 shots, and swiped a steal.
The Aggies will remain home at the Spectrum and return to action Saturday, November 9th when they welcome the 49ers of the Univesity of Charlotte.
