Utah State picked up a verbal commitment Wednesday night from Leone High School (American Samoa) athlete Alexander Fai’i’vae. Fai’i’vae is a 6-foot-3 215-pound high school senior who will join the Aggies for the 2025 season.
Fai’i’ave is versatile enough that he could end up on either side of the ball, as a tight end on the offense, or as a linebacker on the defense. Fai’i’vae chose the Aggies over an offer from Minnesota-North Vermillion.
Fai’i’vae is the twelfth commitment for the Aggies 2025 recruiting cycle, joining Lehi HS (UT) offensive lineman Tommy “Rock” Olsen and Idabel HS (OK) running back Ravian “Megatron” Larry, Copper Hills HS (UT) offensive lineman Joakim Green, Centennial HS (AZ) wide receiver Nikko Boncore, Logan HS (UT) tight end Reed Olsen, Skyridge HS (UT) offensive lineman Filimone Fangupo, Owasso HS (OK) cornerback Eric Harris, Lone Peak HS (UT) offensive lineman Toby Mealer, Murray HS (UT) offensive lineman Sam Brousseau, Corner Canyon HS (UT) athlete Paxton Naegle, and Layton Christian Academy (UT) defensive tackle Iverson Report.
Congratulations son! I am so proud of you and I urge you to continue being great, but also stay humbled! Always put God first and always remember that he is always with you! I love you son and I am so excited for you!
