Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this afternoon from East Mississippi Community College (MS) linebacker Tymere Burton. Burton is a 6-foot-3 230-pound redshirt freshman who has three seasons of eligibility remaining and will join the Aggies for the 2025 season.

In his final season with the Lions, Burton fought through an injury-shortened season to roll up 22 tackles, and 0.5 tackles-for-loss.
