Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this afternoon from Orem High School (UT) running back Feleti Iongi. Iongi is a 5-foot-10 175-pound high school senior who will serve an LDS Church mission before joining the Aggies for the 2027 season.

In his final season with the Tigers, Iongi started in all 12 games and toted the rock 165 times for an outstanding 1,389 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also hauled in 52 passes for 854 yards and 7 more touchdowns.

According to 247sports Iongi is currently rated as the 177th-best running back nationally, and the 45th-best prospect overall in Utah. Iongi chose the Aggies over an offer from Utah Tech.
