Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this morning from Lehi High School (UT) cornerback Abe Jager. Jager is a 6-foot-2 170-pound high school senior who will join the Aggies for the 2025 season.
In his final season with the Pioneers, Jager was credited with 38 tackles, 0.5 tackles-for-loss, 1.0 sacks, 4 interceptions, 9 pass breakups, and 1 fumble recovery.
According to 247sports Jager is currently rated as the 1,952nd-best player nationally, the 164th-best cornerback, and the 25th-best prospect overall in Utah. Jager chose the Aggies over offers from Iowa State and New Mexico
Jager becomes the second high school signing/commitment of the Bronco Mendenhall era here at Utah State and the third signing/commitment overall joining Snow JC (UT) safety Titan Saxton, and Viewmont High (UT) safety Ryan Tillman.
