Utah State signed University of New Mexico safety Bryson Taylor this morning. Taylor is a 6-foot-0 175-pound junior who will join the Aggies in time for spring ball. Taylor will enter spring ball as a senior who has one year of eligibility remaining

Last season with the Lobos, Taylor started in all 12 games and racked up 58 tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss, and 11 pass breakups.

Taylor chose the Aggies over an offer from Eastern Michigan.

Taylor becomes the third transfer portal signing/commitment of the Bronco Mendenhall era here at Utah State and the sixth signing/commitment overall joining Snow JC (UT) safety Titan Saxton, Viewmont HS (UT) safety Ryan Tillman, Lehi HS (UT) cornerback Abe Jager, New Mexico long snapper Hyrum Hatch, and New Mexico cornerback DJ Mayes.
