Utah State signed University of New Mexico cornerback Bobby Arnold. Arnold is a 5-foot-9 179-pound junior who will join the Aggies in time for spring ball. Arnold will enter spring ball as a redshirt junior with two years of eligibility remaining.
In his only season with the Lobos, Arnold was credited with 21 tackles in four games before an injury forced him to miss the remainder of the season. It appears that Utah State was his only offer after entering the transfer portal.
Arnold becomes the thirteenth transfer portal signing/commitment of the Bronco Mendenhall era here at Utah State and the eighteenth signing/commitment overall joining Snow JC (UT) safety Titan Saxton, Viewmont HS (UT) safety Ryan Tillman, Lehi HS (UT) cornerback Abe Jager, New Mexico long snapper Hyrum Hatch, New Mexico cornerback DJ Mayes, New Mexico cornerback Bryson Taylor, Hampton long snapper Owen Edwards, Utah Tech safety Brevin Hamblin, New Mexico running back Javen Jacobs, Missouri punter Will Safris, UCLA wide receiver Braden Pegan, byu running back Miles Davis, New Mexico Military Institute (NM) linebacker Sampson Alofipo, Mount San Antonio CC (CA) defensive tackle Kone Aumua Uiagalelei, Ridgeline HS (UT) quarterback Kaden Cox, Lafayette College defensive end Tyree Morris, and University of Cincinnati kicker Carter Brown.
