Utah State received a verbal commitment tonight from UNLV wide receiver Corey Thompson Jr. Thompson Jr. is a 6-foot-0, 180-pound sophomore who will join the Aggies in time for spring ball. He will enter spring ball as a junior and have three years to complete his final two seasons of eligibility.

In his final season with the Rebels, Thompson Jr. caught 4 passes for 60 yards. He originally held offers from Colorado, Grambling State, Idaho State, and UNLV. He chose the Aggies over an offer from Sacramento State.
