Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Western Kentucky University wide receiver Demick Starling. Starling is 6-foot 194 pounds and will enter spring ball as a graduate senior and spend his final season of eligibility at Utah State.

In his only season with the Hilltoppers, Starling saw action in 9 games and caught 3 passes for 56 yards. Before his lone season at Western Kentucky, Starling spent four seasons at the University of Virginia.

According to 247sports, out of East Nashville Magnet School (TN), Starling was rated as the 2,416th-best player nationally, the 311th-best wide receiver, and the 63rd-best prospect overall in Tennessee. He chose the Aggies over an offer from Southeast Missouri State.
