Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Decatur High School (WA) running back Nehemiah Washington. Washington is 6-foot-0 205 pounds and will join the Aggies for the 2025 season.
In his final season with the Golden Gators, Washington saw action in just two games before a broken arm forced him to miss the season. He did have 14 carries for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns. As a junior in 2023, he toted the rock 153 times for 1,109 yards and 16 touchdowns. Washington chose the Aggies over offers from Central Washington, Idaho (PWO), Minot State, and South Dakota State.
